A complete crypto desk — live markets, perpetual futures, DeFi tooling, on-chain tracing and real cryptography — built by one trader and given to the community. Everything in it is real except the money.
DexLadder is a trading terminal, a market screener, an on-chain explorer, a structured academy, a DeFi liquidity desk and a multi-jurisdiction tax ledger — running on live market data with simulated money. It works in a browser, and as native apps on iOS and Android.
| Never | Why |
|---|---|
| Hold your funds | There is no custody, no deposit and no withdrawal. There is nothing to hold. |
| Place a real order | Every fill is simulated. No order reaches an exchange. |
| Ask for an account | No email, no password, no wallet connection. Your desk is kept on your own machine — see below. |
| Ask for a private key | No flow in the product has a field for one. Anything that asks you for a seed phrase is not us. |
| Sell your data | There is no server-side profile to sell. |
| Charge you | It is free, with no paid tier gating anything. |
On your own machine, in two stores. The working desk — open positions, balances, watchlist, settings — sits in localStorage, where the app reads it synchronously on every tick. The full history lives beside it in an append-only IndexedDB archive named dexladder-vault: every fill, journal entry, alert and point of the equity curve, kept past the limits a single browser key can hold. Neither is sent anywhere, because there is no DexLadder server to send them to.
Both leave together. An export writes one bundle carrying every desk key, the archive, and a count of what is inside before you open it — sealed with a SHA-256 checksum that is verified before the signature, so a truncated file is caught even on a browser with no WebCrypto. Your signing key is left out unless you ask for it, and an import is reversible: the state it replaced is snapshotted first, and one button puts it back.
You do not have to take this on trust. Open the browser console on any DexLadder page and run await DLVAULT.ready; DLVAULT.writable(), then DLVAULT.stats(). No network request is made, because there is nothing to call.
DexLadder is the work of one person: Durgesh Pandey, a trader who came into crypto not understanding the machinery he was trading, found every platform built to be operated rather than understood, and wrote down the explanation nobody would give him. There is no company behind it, no investors and no team. Nothing is upsold and there is no one to follow — what you can check instead of a name is the published apps, the public repositories, and the methodology.
It is not. There is no subscription, no advertising, no affiliate exchange links and no token. That is why there is no pressure anywhere in the product to move you onto a live account.
